The Rural Municipality of Morell, in partnership with the Province of PEI and the Government of Canada, recently completed a $950,000 upgrade to its water-treatment system. Mayor David MacAdam stated that the upgrade includes  the installation of a UV Light Treatment System to ensure consistent disinfection of treated effluent prior to its release.
